Two Sandy Springs men told police they were attacked by two other men in a home invasion last week.

Police in Sandy Springs are currently investigating the incident and searching for the suspects.

The incident occurred on Thursday, Oct. 5, just before 1 a.m. at a home off Spring Creek Lane.

According to a police report, the victims were sleeping when the suspects kicked the door in. The victims told police the men then “beat them up.” Police said they believe the suspects were armed.

Police said that nothing was taken from the apartment and both victims suffered minor injuries, including visible bumps and bruises and bleeding from the lips. Police said both victims refused medical treatment at the scene.

No description of the suspects was given, other than both were men ranged from 6-foot to 6-foot, 3 inches tall, and were between the ages of 20 and 30.

Anyone with information about the incident can submit a crime tip to Sandy Springs Police on their Facebook page. As of Monday, Oct. 16, police were still searching for suspects.
