An Atlanta woman accused of murder was arrested in the city Tuesday.
Michelle Hightower was apprehended in the 400 block of Chappell Road without incident, according to David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office.
The 50-year-old woman was wanted on murder charges in connection with the death of Michael Magee.
Police found Magee, 62, dead on the front walk of a house in the 1300 block of Bernard Street NW on Aug. 6, according to an incident report.

He’d sustained a gunshot wound to the head, LeValley said in a statement.
Officers initially believed the suspect may have still been inside the home, so hostage negotiators and SWAT responded. But the house was cleared and no suspect was found.
The investigation is ongoing. Police could not immediately comment on the alleged connection between Hightower and Magee, or who lived in the home where he was found.
