Police in Peachtree City are looking for two people involved in a suspected charity scam on Monday. At approximately 2 p.m. in the Balmoral Village complex near Crosstown Road, a young white male and a young black male, 17-20 years old, knocked on resident’s door under the pretense of collecting donations. The resident drove the suspects to a local ATM and withdrew money, returned to the apartment, and the suspects left on foot. One was wearing jeans, a black hoodie and a black hat, the other wearing jeans with a tan hoodie and dark sleeves. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or use the anonymous police tip line at www.peachtree-city.org.
