Cobb County police say someone held up four businesses at gunpoint in the last five days. All four robberies are on the same street.

Police told Channel 2's Matt Belanger they believe at least three of the robberies could be connected.

"I saw somebody walk up and he looked kind of suspicious," said Anslee Rice, who works at nearby Dunkin' Donuts on Bells Ferry Road in Acworth.

She told Belanger Monday morning she saw something unusual.

"In about 10 minutes, the Subway workers all came running in and said we got robbed," Rice said.

"It is a little unnerving," said Michael Stone, who works at the Subway.

He said workers there recognized the robber.

"We do believe he was a regular, lives in the area and has been in our store," Stone said.

"Later that night is when the Burger King happened -- they got robbed too," Rice said.

Cobb County police released surveillance photos of a man who they say ordered a sandwich at Burger King Monday evening and then pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

Police say they believe it's the same person who held up the Subway hours before and a RaceTrac gas station early Tuesday morning.

"That's what makes it scarier too," Rice said.

In each case, police say, the man showed a handgun.

Then, around 3 a.m. Friday, police say a different robber -- described as a black man last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and red sneakers -- flashed a gun and demanded cash at a nearby Shell gas station.

Rice told Belanger she'd like to see more police in the area.

"That would definitely make me feel a lot safer," Rice said.
