Morrow police on Tuesday released the names of the sister and brother who were killed while changing a tire on I-75.

Savannah Guio Hayter, 30, and 23-year-old Steven Mack, both from Texas, died after being struck by a car entering northbound I-75 at the ramp from Jonesboro Road around 11:30 a.m. Monday, police said.

They were changing a flat tire in the area in between the entrance ramp and I-75, Morrow police spokesman Capt. James Callaway previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The driver who hit them stopped, he said.

Hayter was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mack was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.

The investigation is continuing, and police said charges are expected to be filed.
