They were nice rides.Three juveniles took them, and now Atlanta police are searching for the youngsters who stole a Lexus, a Jeep and the keys to a Mercedes-Benz Thursday night while their owners dined at one of Atlanta’s premier restaurants.

The owner of a Porsche got lucky; the thieves dropped those keys.

According to police, a valet at Kevin Rathbun Steak on Krog Street saw three young males skulking in the restaurant parking lot about 9:30 p.m. When the valet approached them, one stuck his hand in his pocket. In it, said the youth, was a gun.

The valet watched as the other two went to a box containing customers’ keys. They forced it open, the valet said, and grabbed four sets of keys. They left in two stolen cars and the unidentified vehicle in which they had arrived.

The take: a black 2008 Lexus LS 460 (Georgia tag No. BFE 8179) and a black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Georgia tag No. CCD 2667). They also took a key that fits the ignition of a Mercedes-Benz.

As they ran away, one dropped a fourth set of keys to a Porsche.
