Police identify woman who died after being shot in leg

Atlanta Police have identified a woman who died after reportedly being shot in the leg Saturday.

Alicia Swinson, 29, was shot at least one time in the leg,  according to homicide Commander Paul Guerrucci. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police did not provide a home address for Swinson and offered few other details.

The shooting occurred just after noon at a home in the 1900 block of Akron Drive SE, police said.

Police were interviewing people who were at the house at the time of the shooting, but no arrests had been made.
