Police ID body of woman found alongside I-75 in north Georgia
Police in Cartersville have identified the body of a woman who was found alongside I-75 late in March.
Sheila Mcalexander was identified from dental records that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed, Cartersville police spokesman M.E. Bettikofer said in an emailed statement.
Investigators said at the time that the woman likely was hit by a vehicle.
Investigation of the incident continues, Bettikofer said.
