6 places to celebrate Fourth of July in Cobb County

Y'all ready for some fireworks, Cobb? 

Whether you're in Acworth, Kennsaw or Marietta, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July with friends and family.

Acworth 4th of July Celebration. 4:00 p.m. July 4. Free. Acworth Beach. 2293 Beach Street, Acworth; 770-917-1234

Bring your kayak stand-up paddleboard or canoe! The annual celebration will feature live music and food vendors. Shuttle service is available. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. For parking and shuttle information, click here.

City of Kennesaw's Salute to America. 6:00 p.m.  July 3. Free. Downtown Kennesaw. 770-422-9714; http://www.kennesawjuly3.com/

The pre-Independence Day celebration includes live music, family-friendly activities and food vendors. Performers will include TUSK, The 80otors and The Blast Band.

The city of Marietta's annual Fourth in the Park celebration will include the Marietta Freedom Parade, free live concerts, carnival games and a fireworks finale. Presley Sullivan and Marietta native and 'The Voice' semifinalist Zach Seabaugh will perform. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Read more here.

Michael Henderson and the Atlanta Jazz Radio are bringing Valeira Simpson and Roy Ayers to the Mable House Amphitheater for a Fourth of July celebration. Tickets range from $40 to $150. Read more here.

15,000 people are expected to celebrate the Fourth of July at Powder Springs' town square on Monday. There will be kid-friendly events, including bounce houses and slides, food vendors, and performances by DJ Samuel of the Sweet Auburn Festival. Read more here.

Six Flags Over Georgia and Coca-Cola are collaborating to bring families a memorable holiday experience. All guests that bring a can of Coca-Cola can gain admission an hour early. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. The park recommends sitting at the Cotton States Exposition district near the American Scream Machine and Sky Coaster for the best view. Click here to read more.
