If you like basking in goodness: Thursday begins the "12 Strays of Christmas" campaign at a Cobb County animal shelter.

For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, Best Friends-Atlanta, 4874 S. Atlanta Road, will try to find homes for the dozen animals who have been at the Smyrna shelter longest.

The shelter is part of the national Best Friends Animal Society.

The Bert Show's Kristin Klingshirn will reveal the animals daily on the Q100 radio program.

If one of the featured pets is adopted before its date, they will be replaced with another adorable pet from the shelter.

Below you can find your 12 (actually, 15) strays of Christmas with descriptions below the photos from the shelter.
