Woodstock Police are working with other law enforcement agencies to determine if two suspects arrested in a pharmacy theft late last week might be linked to similar cases across metro Atlanta.

Woodstock Police say one of two suspects jumped the counter at a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy on Towne Lake Parkway early Friday, grabbed prescription medications, stuffed them into a backpack and fled. Responding officers caught both outside the store.

The pair is identified as Saabir Muhammad, 20, and Clarence Logan, 21, both of Douglasville. Both face theft by shoplifting and controlled substance posession charges. Police said the incident was similar to a Cobb County case earlier that same night, and they’re checking with other jurisdictions in Cobb, Cherokee and elsewhere on possible links.
