Continuing construction on the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties will require an overnight ramp closure and detour and through-traffic lane closures in the coming days.

All work is “weather permitting,” subject to change and scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285 will be closed Monday-Wednesday so crews can set bridge beams, GDOT said. The recommended detour is to go east on I-285, exit to Ashford Dunwoody Road, and re-enter I-285 going west.

Separately, road and bridge work will close four left lanes of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Ga. 400, Monday-Wednesday; two left lanes of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge Drive to Ga. 400, Monday-Wednesday; and four left lanes of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge to Ga. 400, Wednesday-Friday.

Backup dates for the work are Wednesday-Thursday, Wednesday-Thursday and Friday-Monday, respectively. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
