The Georgia Department of Transportation announced traffic pacing for controlled blasting and lane closures for ongoing construction, weather permitting, on I-285, Ga. 400 and local roads in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Flagging is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 13, on the ramps from Glenridge Drive and Ashford Dunwoody Road to westbound I-285; and traffic pacing, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily on the ramps from I-285 to Ga. 400. Ramp lane widths may be reduced to allow construction vehicles to enter and exit the work zone.

Closures are planned from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Tuesday-Thursday, southbound Peachtree Dunwoody Road from Hammond to Lake Hearn Drives; and two left and two right lanes of southbound Ga. 400 from Hammond to I-285.

Thursday, overnight: Two right lanes of southbound Ga. 400 from Hammond to I-285.

Thursday-Saturday: Two right lanes of eastbound I-285 from Long Island to Lake Forest drives, and from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center Parkway; two right lanes of westbound I-285 from Ga. 400 to Roswell Road; and the ramp from southbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285.
