Peachtree Dunwoody Road at I-285 in the Sandy Springs-Dunwoody area will be closed northbound and southbound nightly through the weekend for a re-striping project, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Peachtree Dunwoody will be closed between Lake Hearn Drive and Concourse Parkway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Wednesday through Friday; and from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., Friday through Sunday. The closure will allow long-term modifications to accommodate bridge construction for the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange project, GDOT said.

Also in connection with that project, GDOT announced overnight traffic pacing and lane closures on northbound Ga. 400 from Lenox Road to I-285 to allow the movement of construction equipment. The closures are scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday through Saturday.

Police will slow traffic to about 15 mph. Officers also will temporarily restrict traffic from entering northbound Ga. 400 at Lenox, the Glenridge Connector and I-285.

All work is "weather permitting" and subject to change. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
