The name of the pedestrian hit and killed by an SUV at an Atlanta intersection Monday night has been released.

Fulton county investigators said that 49-year-old Karlyn Kellogg was attempting to cross the street near the intersection at Cascade and Kimberly roads when he was struck and killed by a white SUV.

Fulton County detective Melissa Parker said the vehicle was traveling east on Cascade Road when it struck Kellogg, who was not at a crosswalk, at about 7:15 p.m.

Parker said no charges against the driver are pending at this time.
