The Peachtree Corners City Council meeting for June has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. June 27 in council chambers of City Hall, 310 Technology Parkway. The change in date will allow the council time to return from the annual Georgia Municipal Association convention held in Savannah.

Future council meetings will resume a regular schedule of meeting the 4th Tuesday of each month.

The June council meeting agenda includes a vote to approve the proposed 2018-2019 budget. Highlights of the budget include $1.5M allocated for repaving, $780K allocated for new sidewalks, $1.7M allocated for trail construction, and $75K allocated for street light improvements.

The city council approved funding in May for the construction of a bridge over Peachtree Parkway between the Forum shopping center and Town Center, which is currently under construction. Funding for the bridge is part of the Capital Improvement Plan, which is a five-year plan for spending SPLOST dollars.
