The Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Committee has launched a website to help the community learn more about plans for the monument. The website also allows veterans or family members of veterans to provide information to be included with the monument.

The memorial will be in or near the city’s planned Town Center on land donated by the city, and will occupy a circular space of about 3,000 square feet. The center will be a five-sided base of granite or marble that supports a pillar topped with a globe of the world and a sculpture of an eagle. The base will include an interactive component to identify and recognize the service of the veterans of Peachtree Corners.

Five vertical slabs surrounding the center will be engraved for each military service with an outer ring containing benches for visitors. Information: www.ptcvets.net/.
