Effective Dec. 18, Peachtree Corners will move City Hall to its new building at 310 Technology Parkway. The new location is half a mile west of its current office. The telephone number and all other contact information remains the same.

Peachtree Corners announced the move in May to spend $4.5 million to purchase the building and relocate city hall rather than continue to pay for rental space. The purchase is financed through the Georgia Municipal Association to be paid off in 15 years.

Remaining at its current location, the city would have faced a significant rent increase. Purchasing the property presents a more fiscally prudent option since the new location has more square footage, and will allow the city to lease out a portion of the building to offset the monthly loan cost.

The new two-story building, at 310 Technology Parkway, offers road frontage and clear visibility from the street. Each floor is about 30,000 square feet. City Hall will be on the ground floor, and will accommodate larger council chambers and additional meeting space.

Beginning Dec. 18 the community will visit the new City Hall to obtain building permits, business licenses or to conduct other city business. Parking is available in the front and rear of the building.
