Peachtree Corners buys land to thwart apartment complex

May 14, 2013The city of Peachtree Corners closed on the purchase of 20.6 acres Monday, across from The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. The purchase price was $11.5 million.
A developer had planned to build a 250-unit apartment complex on the land. City officials felt it was out of character with the surrounding area.
