Peachtree Corners is hosting a Public Informational Workshop on the Metropolitan River Protection Act and the importance of the Chattahoochee River, not just to the city, but to the entire watershed. The public workshop will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20 at City Hall in Council Chambers, 147 Technology Parkway.

This workshop will focus on the Peachtree Corners Chattahoochee River Corridor. The goal of the event is to help the community fully appreciate and protect this water resource and to learn how everyday activities can affect the water quality of the river. Information will also be available about the BacteriALERT program.
