Peachtree City suspends e-waste recycling

Peachtree City announced this week that the vendor who has been processing electronics recycling at the city’s collection center on Rockaway Road is going out of business.

Keep Peachtree City Beautiful is trying to find another vendor, but until that happens, the recycling center can no longer accept e-waste. However, various retailers in Peachtree City and elsewhere in Fayette County will take old cellphones, cameras, computers, monitors, MP3 players and other electronics for recycling; see www.earth911.com for a list.
