The City Council of Peachtree City has begun shortening a list of potential infrastructure projects a new SPLOST could fund if approved in November.

On Thursday, City Manager Jon Rorie presented the council with a list of $84 million worth of projects, $42 million of which consist of financially feasible items based on the projected five-year sales tax revenue. That list will be further narrowed, but includes new cart path bridges and tunnels, intersection improvements and park amenities.

The council will hold a final public workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall to discuss these and other budgetary issues for FY2017.
