Peachtree City is formalizing funding agreements with two Fayette County nonprofits following unanimous City Council approval on Sept. 7.

Fayette Senior Services will receive $15,000 to help provide transportation, meals, social programs and other services to residents over age 50. Promise Place, which assists victims of domestic violence, runs a hotline and also consults with the Peachtree City Police Department, will receive $10,00.

Both grants, which take effect Oct. 1 through September 2018, were already included in the city’s budget.
