Aging or damaged subdivision entrance signs in Peachtree City will be repaired or replaced under a new policy approved 5-0 by the city council on March 5. Signs in city right-of-ways will be repaired and maintained whenever possible, with necessary replacement signs limited to $3,500 each and built according to city design standards.

Subdivisions that are governed by a homeowners association will have the option of upgrading their signs regardless of condition if a majority of residents agree to funding future maintenance. Those neighborhoods would be eligible for a limited amount of grant money, with city approval.
