Panola Slope, a new development in south DeKalb, will host its first Food Truck Festival at the end of the month.
The two-day event will feature trucks from around the Atlanta area in the 10-acre community. Development began earlier this year after being stalled since 2007.
The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 and 28 at the mixed-use community, 5600 Covington Highway, near Decatur. It is free and open to the public.
