More traffic pacing and lane closures will affect overnight traffic in connection with the reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Road contractors will pace traffic on I-285 westbound from Chamblee Dunwoody to Ashford Dunwoody roads from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Nov. 2, to move equipment across the interstate, the Georgia Department of Transportation advises.

Separately, two right lanes and two left lanes of Ga. 400 northbound will be closed alternately from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Wednesday, Oct. 31 through Thursday, Nov. 1 to let crews pour the deck for the Mount Vernon Highway bridge, GDOT says. The work will affect Ga. 400 from Hammond Drive to Abernathy Road.

Mount Vernon Highway, meanwhile, will be closed between Barfield Road/Mercedes Drive and Peachtree Dunwoody Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 2.

All work is "weather permitting" and subject to change, GDOT says. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
