Outage leaves 200 homes without power

About 200 homes are without power in the southeast end of Alpharetta, officials said.

Around 11 a.m., power went out in the Old Milton Parkway area, near the Alpharetta Common Shopping Center, police spokesman Officer George Gordon said.

"We haven't found anything unusual to explain what happened," Gordon said. "No one has hit a power line or dug up a wire."

Police and fire teams are on the scene, and crews Sawnee EMC are en route to determine the cause of the outage.
