Someone in Georgia is the winner of Tuesday night’s $12 million Mega Million jackpot.

However, officials with the Georgia Lottery do not yet know is the lucky winner is.

“No one has stepped forward to claim their winnings,” said Kimberly Lundy, Georgia Lottery spokeswoman.

According to Lundy, what they do know is that the ticket was purchased in Newnan.

The winner has six months, or 180 days, to claim their winnings, said Lundy.

Last week three in Georgia came close to winning the $333 million jackpot in Friday’s Mega Million drawing.
