Several state lawmakers conversant with transportation and economic development issues will host the 2016 Statewide Transportation Leadership Forum 3-4:30 p.m. Jan 7 in the Sidney Lanier Room of the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green Street.
State Senators Steve Gooch, R- Dahlonega and Tommie Williams, R-Lyons and Rep. Christian Coomer, R-Cassville, will talk with business and community leaders about the potential mechanics and outcomes of HB 170, the Transportation Funding Act of 2015, in various communities.
The forum is sponsored by the Georgia Transportation Alliance and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
