North Fulton Community Charities, a human services agency serving residents in the five cites of its namesake territory, announced the election of Mary Good as its first female board president in its 36-year history.

“I am passionate about community involvement, and I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to increase our community engagement,” Good said.

A retired resident and longtime community volunteer, Good has served on the NFCC Board of Directors since 2012. Other new NFCC officers include John Carpentier CPA, Principal at Windham Brannon, vice president; Bryan Apinis, associate pastor at North Point Community Church, treasurer; and Kathryn Albright, in community relations at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, secretary.

New board members include Bill Brower, vice president of LexisNexis, Risk Solutions; Ken Davis, president of Renasant Bank; Gina Daunt of the Roswell Fire Department; Julie Haley, chief executive officer, Edge Solutions; and Matt Powell, chief financial officer/vice president of business development, DataScan.

NFCC is dedicated to building self-sufficiency and preventing homelessness and hunger among residents of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park and Roswell.
