North Cobb resurfacing 100 roads

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to spend nearly $7 million to repave 100 roads in north Cobb.

C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., the low bidder, also will resurface a parking lot at Kennworth Park, 3900 S. Main St., Acworth in addition to the almost 24 miles of roads.

Completion is expected by Dec. 31.
