On any given day, about 10 percent of the population of Norcross lives in one of the city’s 14 extended-stay hotels. In Oct. 2017, Norcross was one of five communities selected to improve and broaden its housing options through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing. In Norcross, the public-private initiative, NorcrossLive, helps the community grow the economy and enhance the quality of life of its residents.

As part of efforts to make Norcross a more welcoming and livable city, LiveNorcross is surveying residents of the city’s 14 extended-stay hotels during Oct. and Nov. The goal is to find out more about barriers to permanent housing that some of the families may be experiencing.
