The Norcross City Council approved a rezoning request Tuesday for the Iglesias Pentecostal Bethel de Atlanta, Inc. to locate a church in the Pinnacle Point Business Park at 200 Pinnacle Way. The request had been put on hold last month as the city evaluated the request in conjunction with the city’s overall master plan and a desire to maintain the property for a telephone call center with the potential of 100+ jobs.
Members of the church, along with Pastor Luis Juarez made a compelling argument for approval at the city’s regularly scheduled council meeting. The city’s approval of the rezoning came with a host of restrictions including guidelines for parking, audio and video services and any pre- or post-gathering events.
