Norcross adding sidewalks along four streets

Norcross will add approximately 4,100 feet of sidewalk improvements along Garner Street, West Peachtree Street, Goodwick Way and Newbury Road. Garner Street and Goodwick Way are accessible from Mitchell Way. Newbury Road is accessible from Goodwick Way to Beaver Ruin Road. West Peachtree travels between Holcomb Bridge Road to Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

This project is funded by the Gwinnett County Community Development Block Grant program.

The city is currently accepting separate sealed bids for the construction. A pre-bid conference for potential bidders is scheduled for 2 p.m. May 3 at City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville St.
