Two northbound lanes of Roswell Road north of the I-285 bridge in Sandy Springs will be closed during the overnight hours, with traffic redirected onto the southbound lanes as crews work to relocate a sewer line.

The closure was to start Monday night and is to continue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Saturday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The work is part of the ongoing reconstruction of the nearby I-285/Ga. 400 interchange.

The closure extends from I-285 to Carpenter Drive, GDOT said. Motorists on northbound Roswell will be shifted to the left, to the southbound lanes, while southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane. Ramps to and from I-285 will remain open.

Exact dates may change due to the weather or other factors, GDOT said. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
