In September, Gwinnett commissioners passed a resolution to create the Gwinnett County Transit Review Committee. This group of 13 citizens will advise commissioners on how to expand transit in the county. The committee has reviewed the county’s transit needs based on projected population and employment, along with the Connect Gwinnett Transit Plan, and is tasked with presenting a written report with recommendations by the end of this year.

Before this final step, the committee will present their findings to the public for feedback 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, Conference Room C, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.
