A Stockbridge Chick-fil-A Dwarf House location demolished earlier this year has re-opened as a Truett’s Chick-fil-A.

The new store, which officially opened July 11, is an updated concept of the Dwarf House that the Atlanta-based fast-food company is rolling out across the metro area.

“It is our privilege and honor to serve our community in our new home,” the Ga. 138-located store said on its Facebook page. “We look forward to serving all of our wonderful guests.”

In March, Chick-fil-A gave Stockbridge seven paintings of the historic Henry County city that had hung in the now demolished Dwarf House.

The artwork depicts historic Stockbridge sites from the past 100 years and comes as the city prepares to celebrate its centennial in 2020.

"We are thankful for this special historical donation," Stockbridge Mayor Anthony Ford said after the donation. "We continue to honor the rich legacy of this legendary city."
