Du Bois Integrity Academy will become Clayton County’s newest school. Its charter was approved by the State Charter School Commission of Georgia with a unanimous vote in September. The tuition-free public charter school is slated to open its doors with a new state-of-the-art facility for all Clayton County students starting the 2015-16 academic school year at 812 King Road in Riverdale.

DIA will accommodate over 400 students from grades kindergarten thru fifth grade. Instructional leaders will integrate their comprehensive school academic program in accordance with Georgia’s Common Core Standards. DIA will utilize Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and integrate the Arts with a “Blended Learning” platform to connect highly effective teachers in ways that promote rigor, relevance and relationships, according to administrators.
