A new steakhouse is expected to open in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville in January.

Work is underway at T-Ray’s Fire Grill on W. Crogan Street. The restaurant is owned by husband and wife Steve and Jo Green and their daughter, Taylor Ray Green. The Green family also owns Oyster Bay Seafood Cafe, the restaurant next door to T-Ray’s Fire Grill.

T-Ray’s offers a variety of steaks and burgers as well as scallops, escargot and poutine. There’s also a tapas menu exclusively available at the restaurant’s bar, with snacks and small plates to munch on alongside a drink.

The restaurant is hiring in advance of its opening, a date which has not yet been announced. Interested applicants can send in a resume online or apply in person at Oyster Bay Seafood Cafe.
