California-based Lazy Dog is the latest restaurant to open near Peachtree Corners’ Town Center, a mixed-use development in the city’s center.
Lazy Dog put out a call to hire 200 workers for the new restaurant in June, and aimed for an August opening. With a ribbon cutting ceremony with Peachtree Corners leaders on Aug. 7, that opening was complete.

The restaurant is located at 5224 Peachtree Parkway, near the new Town Center mixed-use development that celebrated its official opening in April. The California-based restaurant chain has more than 30 locations, mostly west of the Mississippi, but is opening its first Georgia locations in Peachtree Corners this year and Dunwoody in 2020. Lazy Dog focuses on seasonal ingredients and takes inspiration from the ski resort town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The Peachtree Corners location has a mountain lodge feel, with exposed ceiling beams, a fireplace and a chandelier made of Aspen tree logs. The restaurant also features an open-air patio where guests can bring their leashed dogs.
Lazy Dog is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays, serving lunch and dinner, and 9 a.m. through midnight Saturdays and Sundays, serving brunch and dinner.
