When students at Dunleith Elementary School in Marietta return to class Thursday, Aug. 1, a new principal will be ready to help them celebrate the start of the 2019-2020 school year.

Ayodele Richardson was appointed by the Marietta City School Board to begin her tenure July 1 as principal at the school. She replaces Jeffrey Mosley, who the school board named executive director of academic programs at the central office.

Richardson was previously employed for five years with the Fulton County School System. She served as assistant principal at Crabapple Crossing Elementary School in Milton and Elkins Pointe Middle School in Roswell.
