Linda Davis is the Kennesaw-Acworth 911 director.
She will be responsible for directing all aspects of the 911 emergency telephone system/dispatch center for all emergency services within the cities of Kennesaw and Acworth.
She also will handle all departmental administrative functions, including managing financial and personnel matters, providing on-the-job training, evaluating job performance, recommending selection of new staff members, promotions, status changes, scheduling, coordinating work operations and setting the daily priorities of managing emergency communications and response.
Davis most recently served as assistant director of Cobb County 911 Emergency Communications where she began as a supervisor in 1996.
