Bringing 700 to 800 jobs to Cobb County, a master planned business park was approved unanimously May 15 by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.

This plan is a change to one approved by the commissioners in 2015 by removing the warehouse option and keeping one office building on almost 30 acres on the west side of Bells Ferry Road and the east side of Chastain Meadows Parkway.

Applicants Edison Chastain Office and the TPA Group will develop a 120,000 square-foot office building, including a 2.5-acre park that will be open to the public near the Noonday Creek Trail and Trailhead.

Applicant attorney Kevin Moore said this “Edison concept” will be “a campus-style office” similar to those developed in Charlotte, North Carolina; Orlando and Alpharetta.

TPA Group also has developed five master planned business parks in metro Atlanta and also office and industrial parks - five in metro Atlanta, one in Savannah, one in South Carolina and five in Florida.
