A new assisted-living community is coming to Snellville, the city announced.
The Sheridan at Eastside will start construction this fall next to the Eastside Regional Medical Center. The facility, which will be developed and operated by Senior Lifestyle, will have nearly 200 units: “32 memory care residences, along with 81 independent-living apartment homes, 60 assisted-living apartment homes and 24 independent-living cottages,” Senior Lifestyle said in a release.
The community will be built on Tree Lane, “a few blocks north” of Ronald Parkway, near both the hospital and a growing development of single-family homes. The Sheridan at Eastside will feature 24,000 square feet of common space, including a spa, theater and art studio.
