Schools in Fannin County were closed Monday because of a large water main leak in the county seat of Blue Ridge.
One problem water officials are facing is that the location of the leak has not been determined.
The Fannin County Emergency Management Agency late Sunday was asking residents to call 911 if they have any information on the location of the “major” leak.
Residents were also asked to conserve water until the break is located and repaired.
The school year began last Wednesday in the county, which is about 90 miles north of Atlanta.
