The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved a rezoning for a multi-family age-restricted residential development at 4205 West Village Parkway in the Fairview area as well as an amendment to the county’s comprehensive plan and land use map designating 6.73 acres of the site as high-density residential.

This change will support a density exceeding 16 net dwelling units per acre, according to a staff report.

Both measures passed with a 4-0 vote as commissioners Bruce Holmes and Blake Prince abstained from voting.
