An Atlanta road will close Monday while "Superfly" films in the area, according to the Grant Park Neighborhood Association.
Sony Pictures and Gravitational Productions has been shooting scenes in the city over the past few months. The movie is a remake of the classic 1972 blaxploitation film "Superfly." Director X — born in Canada as Julien Christian Lutz — is directing the project.

Driving scenes Monday will include cars “racing” up Cherokee Ave followed or led by a camera car. Filming is scheduled for Monday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For the first four hours, Cherokee Avenue SE will be closed the two blocks from Georgia to Milledge avenues, and traffic control will be in place for one block from Grant Park Place to Augusta Avenue.
All driveways will be open and accessible during that time.
