Motorist killed in crash on Langford Parkway

A motorist was killed Friday night in a single-vehicle wreck on Langford Parkway.

The wreck happened about 9 p.m. near Greenbriar Parkway.

The deceased motorist was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as James Turner, 63, of Atlanta.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle appears to have left the lanes of travel and struck the median wall,” Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a Saturday morning e-mail. “At this time, the cause of the accident and cause of death remain under investigation.”
