A 76-year-old Tennessee man died after being ejected from his motorcycle in a crash on I-75 in Bartow County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Gene E. McCall, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., was southbound on a 2000 Honda STI motorcycle when the crash occurred around 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, a GSP spokeswoman said. A 2002 Toyota Camry Solara was also involved in the crash, which happened near mile marker 304, just south of Adairsville.
McCall was killed in the crash. The driver of the Camry, Ingrid C. Zito, 56, of White, was not injured.
No information was available on the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation. Charges are pending, the GSP said.
