Forsyth County Animal Shelter officials said that all but a few of the 26 dogs seized from a Forsyth County home in February have found forever homes.
Shelter officials said that as of Tuesday, all 12 of the puppies had been adopted, as well as 10 of the 14 adult canines. The dogs had been housed at the shelter since being removed from a home on Franklin Goldmine Road. A March 24 court order had prepared the way for the adoptions.
A Cumming man faces animal cruelty charges for allegedly keeping the dogs in what county officials said were deplorable conditions.
